Every once in a while, we need to escape reality and find solace in private secluded places even for just a few hours.

“The Scholar’s Library”, located in a forest near Olivebridge in New York, is the perfect retreat for people seeking a break from the fast-paced world. Built by architects at Peter Gluck & Partners Architects, the private library channels a “pure and elegant” design so readers will not be distracted from the “building’s environment and the wealth of knowledge contained below.” The books are found in the building’s first floor while the study area is situated on top of it. Such design was followed as architects believe a “person’s studies must be built upon the foundation of what was written before”.

This tiny haven has become a sanctuary not only for readers but also for people who need a break from it all.

This tiny house-style haven is the perfect place to escape reality.
