"I still don't know how long she is going to live. But right now it's going pretty great."
South-African filmmaker Dave Meinert was aware that the puppy he rescued from backyard breeders could possibly go blind and deaf.
A double merle, the sickly puppy called Pegasus wouldn’t live too long, according to her breeders. In fact, most of her siblings died at birth or have deformities.
Still, this didn’t stop the filmmaker from capturing the time that they had left. To celebrate Pegasus’ good days, Meinert filmed the rescue dog walking on a treadmill. The awe-inspiring time-lapse video beautifully documented how Pegasus transformed from a month-old puppy to a seven-month-old dog.
Although Meinert doesn’t know until when Pegasus is going to last, he’s pretty much cherishing every moment with her.
