Sophie Turner’s Reaction To THAT Arya Scene Is Hilarious And Very Un-Sansa Stark

"And that's the tea!"

If you still haven’t seen Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, you’re missing out on a truly epic milestone. Although there were several notable moments throughout A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, people simply couldn’t stop talking about one particular scene involving Arya Stark and Gendry. WARNING: The article contains spoilers so proceed with caution.

In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, Arya finally learned that Gendry is Robert Baratheon’s bastard. Then she immediately seduced Gendry by telling him she wanted to know what it was like to sleep with a man. The scene was certainly shocking for most people. However, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the series, had the best and most hilarious reaction to that scene.

Sansa Stark isn’t the only one who can drop some awesome one-liners.

Just like the rest of us, Sophie Turner had watched the episode on the evening of Easter Sunday. But unlike the rest of us lowly peasants, the real Lady Stark did so in a white robe while sipping on a glass of red wine.

So what did the Lady of Winterfell have to say about that particular scene? Her reaction has an Easter theme, because why not?

“In honor of Easter, I guess ‘Game of Thrones’ wanted the storyline to have a little Easter bunny hop hop hoppin’ into that PUSS-AAAAYYYYYYY,” she said. “And that’s the tea.”

Turner even tagged Maisie Williams in her Instagram story. Needless to say, Williams probably loved Turner’s reaction to the scene.

Interestingly, Turner was the one who informed Williams about Arya’s love scene in the second episode. Williams initially thought that it was a joke because the producers have a habit of sending out bogus scripts to the cast.

“At first, I thought it was a prank,” Williams said. “I was like, ‘Yo, good one.’ And [the showrunners were] like, ‘No, we haven’t done that this year.’”

With the surprising love scene out of the way, it looks like the main characters are now ready for the big battle. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will air on HBO on April 28.
