Some people may not be happy with the way Game of Thrones ended but it looks like the clues on what would happen in the series finale were everywhere even before the eighth season actually aired. For instance, Sophie Turner had the ending somehow turned into a tattoo right almost a year before the premiere of The Iron Throne. WARNING: The following article contains spoilers from Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 so proceed with caution.

In the Season 8 finale, Bran Stark was elected as the new King of Westeros after Jon Snow killed Daenerys Targaryen. During the meeting, Sansa Stark declared that the North will remain an independent kingdom and Bran sent Jon to the Night’s Watch as punishment for his crime. Meanwhile, Arya Stark decided to find out what is west of Westeros.

The surviving members of House Stark reunite for the last time.

In the end, the remaining Stark children including Jon Snow survived and followed their own paths. It’s not exactly a shocking conclusion if you had been paying attention to Sophie Turner’s Game of Thrones-themed tattoo.

Back in June, Turner decided to get a tattoo that pays tribute to House Stark. It features the Stark sigil along with a part of Ned Stark’s quote for the first season: “The pack survives.”

The tattoo was initially believed to be a Season 8 spoiler. However, Turner insisted that it was just “a quote I like to live by.” The Game of Thrones actress even stated that it was just a line from Season 7 that her character said. As it turns out, we were right about that tattoo all along.

Turner somehow confirmed the tattoo’s spoiler-y nature by posting an awesome behind-the-scenes photo of the Stark children in the season finale along with a cheeky caption: “The pack survived.”

Of course, we can forgive Turner for trying to keep us in the dark for so long. Either way, people were certainly hoping that the Stark children would make it to the end of Game of Thrones and that’s exactly what happened.
