‘Star Wars’ Actors Say Baby Yoda From ‘The Mandalorian’ is Cuter Than Porgs
- The breakout star of ‘The Mandalorian’ is winning the hearts of ‘Star Wars’ fans and even the cast of the sequel trilogy.
- Daisy Ridley says that she thinks Baby Yoda is much cuter than the Porgs.
- Ridley’s ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ castmate John Boyega agrees and even throws shade at the Porgs.
The new Disney+ series The Mandalorian has given Star Wars fans something they didn’t know they wanted: the adorable Baby Yoda, a 50-year-old child who comes from the same species as the Jedi Master. Not surprisingly, Baby Yoda is all that fans can talk about right now but is he cuter than the sweet-faced Porgs from Star Wars: The Last Jedi? The cast of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker have weighed in on the important question.
Daisy Ridley was recently a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she was asked who is cuter, Baby Yoda or a Porg. The Rise of Skywalker star didn’t even hesitate as she chose the tiny character from The Mandalorian.

Interestingly, Ridley’s opinion of the Porgs isn’t very high. She revealed that she was annoyed about being asked about the feathery aliens since she only got to work with them once while filming The Last Jedi.
Who could resist that adorable little face?
Daisy Ridley isn’t the only one who adores Baby Yoda. Her Star Wars co-star John Boyega also gushed about the Child and even pointed out that he prefers Baby Yoda over the Porgs.
“I’ve been open about my thoughts about porgs,” Boyega said. “They’re vile, disgusting creatures.”
This little guy isn’t happy about being called ‘vile’ and ‘disgusting’.
Baby Yoda was first introduced in the first episode of The Mandalorian where it was revealed that he was the target that the lead character was sent to procure. Since then, Star Wars fans have fallen in love with the tiny character as he mischievously interacts with Mando.
