This Multi-Award Winning Short Animated Film Will Definitely Leave You All Choked Up
Some movies, no matter how short, can truly stir people’s hearts. After all, it’s all about the plot, the musical score, and more importantly, how the director told the story.
From one of the animators behind “Zootopia” comes this touching, animated short about love and acceptance. “The Present,” is a heart-warming, four-minute animated film created by Vimeo user Jacob Frey—a young, talented director and character animator from Germany.
The story, which was based on a comic strip by Fabio Coala, is about a boy who received an unexpected gift from his mom. Although disappointed at first, he soon learned more about his “present.” Until, finally, he was able to come to terms with it and, more importantly, with himself.
We guarantee that the ending will move you to tears.
The video has been shown at more than 180 film festivals. After watching this, you’d understand why it won over 50 awards.
Watch the video and tell us what you think about it. Also, don’t forget to share it with your family and friends.
