It went on to become a full WWE match as they went for each other's necks.
When two people start fighting, you have a choice to intervene in hopes of stopping the brawl. But when it’s two bears going at it, you better stay the heck away, no question about it.
A recent video of two brown bears pawing and mauling each other in the middle of the British Columbia wilderness is a perfect example of this. Bears fighting within the woods is nothing new, but seeing them duke it out in the middle of the road is another thing.
Just like how humans pretty much start a fight, these two bears first growled at each other, taunting and looking like they are testing each other’s boundaries.
After a short while, they both stood on their hind legs and started pushing each other, just like two dudes brawling in the bar.
This led to the bears shoving and thwacking each other, which made them stumble right into the road. It went on to become full WWE mode as they went for each other’s necks.
What made this match more fascinating to see is the one watching the fight (aside from the one who took the video). Near the 47-mark, one can see a wolf watching the whole battle royale, casual as eff.
The bears continued to tussle until they tumbled off the side of the road, going into the bushes.
The action was captured on video by Cari McGillivray, who shared the footage on Facebook.
“This was by far one of my favorite wildlife encounters I have ever had!!” she said.
The showdown happened at the Stewart-Cassiar highway, which is a long road through the British Columbia wilderness. It connects Alaska with the lower 48. The remoteness of the area makes it a natural spot for seeing bears brawling on the road like nobody’s business.
