Two New Mysterious Monoliths Were Recently Spotted in Poland

• The first one is in the southern city of Kielce and the second one on the banks of the Vistula river in Warsaw.
• The monolith is said to be made of metal and looks professionally done.
• Before the appearance of the structures in Poland, a monolith was seen on the top of a hill in Glastonbury.

The appearance of the mysterious monoliths goes on as two more of these structures were discovered in Poland, the first one in the southern city of Kielce and the second one on the banks of the Vistula river in Warsaw.

These latest monoliths look similar to the ones earlier found in the U.S., Romania, and the UK. The one at Kielce stands around nine feet tall and was first seen by a former quarry and turned into the Kadzielnia nature reserve.

According to Andrzej Płonka from Geopark, which manages the reserve, the monolith is made of metal and looks professionally done. The employee saw the structure in the morning. Before that, nobody saw anything that could have explained why the monolith was there. She said that there is no monitoring in that area.

The second one was spotted on Wednesday afternoon. Sergiusz Kieruzel, spokesman for Polish Waters Authority, said that the monolith “is definitely not our initiative.” He said that they will be checking if there was a permit to put up the structure.

It was a jogger who first saw the monolith along the Vistula river. She was running along her usual path when she came across the structure.

“It is identical to the monoliths in the USA and Romania, all steel, three meters tall! Anybody knows what’s going on?” she said.

These are the latest among the mysterious monoliths appearing in random spots around the world. The first appeared in the Utah desert in November and there are those who likened it to the ones seen in the Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Since then, other monoliths have been seen across the U.S., as well as Colombia, Romania and the Netherlands.

Before the appearance of the structures in Poland, a monolith was seen on the top of a hill in Glastonbury with the words ‘Not Banksy’ on it.It was seen on top of Glastonbury Tor, which is an ancient hill linked to King Arthur.

The structure, which was blown over by the wind, had a stencil drawing of a rat that is similar to the style of street artist Banksy.

And prior to that, a monolith was seen on the Isle of Wight on Sunday, although this was accounted for – designer Tom Dunford admitted later on that he installed it as a tribute to the others that popped up around the world.

Some of the structures were later discovered to have been installed by certain people, but for the most part, the origins of the others still remains a mystery.

Naturally, theories popped out about the source, which include aliens, artists, and marketing gimmicks.

The one found in Utah was said to have resemblance to the work of avant-garde artist John McCracken, who died in 2011. Statements given by his representatives have been confusing, as most are just ambiguous and conflicting.
