Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn Have Been ‘Dating’ For 37 Years, Still Wouldn’t Get Married

Fact: Hollywood has a high divorce rate. According to a 2017 US Census data, around 52% of A-list celebrity marriages end up in divorce, which means it’s twice higher when compared to the general public.

With this in mind, it’s always heartwarming to see celebrity couples standing the test of time. And surprisingly, some of them still haven’t tied the knot until now.

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have been together since 1983. And they are still madly in love with each other!

As Hawn told PEOPLE, their longevity can be attributed to just one thing. “You’ve just got to want to be together,” the 75-year-old star said. “I don’t think there’s any way other than do it.”

The couple started dating and they worked together in the romance-drama movie Swing Shift.

Russell, 69, recalled how her stunning looks caught his attention.

“The images of her were alluring and attractive, so all those things were taking place,” Russell shared. “But then you get to know somebody and you begin to find that, yeah, you do share things in common deeply. Hey, listen, it goes where it goes.”

The rest, as they say, is history.

The two stars have since created a loving family with their son Wyatt Russell, now 34, along with their children from previous marriages – Russell’s son Boston and Hawn’s daughter and son, actors Kate, 41, and Oliver Hudson, 44.

The couple co-stars as Santa Claus and Mrs Claus in the new Netflix movie the Christmas Chronicles 2.

“For people like us, the marriage certificate wasn’t going to create anything that otherwise we wouldn’t have,” summed up Russell.
