Now you have a good excuse to drink more!
With all the food, the festive mood, the nice weather, and all the office and family gatherings, some would tell you that the holiday season is just the most perfect time for drinking. And they won’t be wrong. There’s definitely something about the yuletide that encourages you to reach for that wine bottle, open it, and share it with friends and loved ones.
However, if you’re the type who’s been doing that the whole year anyway, then we’ve got some good news: you can actually use all the empty wine bottles you’ve amassed for a fun DIY project.
You may have already seen some of these unique trees on Instagram. We dug a bit deeper and found out interior decorating magazine Home Beautiful did a feature about it years ago.
As the website tells us, this type of project gives you a valid reason to “drink extra wine” since, you know, you’re trying to save up some bottles. And while the tree may look complicated and kinda intimidating, it’s really easy to do.
All you will need are some empty wine bottles, tiered bottle drying rack, and, of course, some Christmas string lights to give the tree that much-needed yuletide vibe.
It’s really easy to see why this kind of tree has become particularly popular, not only for wine stores and bars but even for homes. It’s quirky and thus looks nothing like the ordinary trees out there.
Go head over to House Beautiful for additional insights about this awesome DIY project.
