Woman Asks How To Deal With Not Being ‘Pretty’ And A Man Had The Perfect Response

It just goes to show that sometimes a woman would find genuinely good advice in the most unlikely places - from a man.

Some women can feel very insecure, there will be times that they just don’t know how to deal with it anymore. One woman took to social media to share her feelings about not being pretty.

She shared a heartbreaking entry on Reddit, opening up about her struggles with self-confidence. She titled the post, “Ladies, how do you deal with not being pretty?” Fortunately, one male Reddit user gave her some genuinely impressive and important advice.

The woman wrote:

“I am not pretty, and I never will be. I can wear makeup, do my hair, wear a lovely dress and heels and I’ll never look like a 9/10. I know it shouldn’t bother me, but it does- I want to be beautiful, and I get so jealous that these other girls are born pretty.”

She then proceeded to ask a couple of questions that clearly showed her frustrations for not looking as beautiful as the other women.

Most users reassured the woman that she’s beautiful in her own way and that she shouldn’t be so hard on herself. But one man replied with a lengthy message that definitely struck a chord.

He said:

“I’m not ‘mansplaining’ or trying to discount how you feel – I’m offering a perspective that might help … I wish I could let you into a man’s head as he’s falling in love with a woman. It’s a process that’s so alien, so strange, that I’m afraid you’ve got to experience it to believe it. But it’s as real as death and taxes….”

He went on to share some very relatable details when you start liking someone.

He shared that “A man in love with a woman doesn’t see her objectively.” The attraction is not just because of her pretty face and perfect smile, men notice something more than that.
